Astana. March 3. KazTAG – Additional flights are planned to be launched for March holidays in Kazakhstan, reports the Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Transport.
“In order to meet passenger demand for air travel, Kazakhstani airlines have resolved to increase the number of flights during the Nauryz holiday,” reads the report.

It is reported that 120 additional flights have been added from March 16 to March 30, 2025, including:

- Air Astana added 55 flights:

on domestic routes:
- Astana – Almaty + eight flights;
- Atyrau – Astana + six flights;
- Atyrau – Almaty + three flights;
- Almaty – Shymkent + two flights;
- Almaty – Kyzylorda + two flights;
- Almaty – Aktau + one flight;
- Almaty – Aktobe + one flight;
- Almaty – Ust-Kamenogorsk + one flight;
- Astana – Aktobe + one flight;
- Astana – Uralsk + one flight;
- Astana – Kostanay + one flight;

for international destinations:
- Almaty – Seoul + four flights;
- Almaty – Istanbul + four flights;
- Astana – Istanbul + four flights;
- Almaty – Male + four flights;
- Almaty – Beijing + two flights;
- Astana – Seoul + two flights;
- Almaty – Tbilisi + one flight;
- Astana – Phuket + one flight;
- Astana – Phu Quoc + one flight;
- Almaty – London + one flight;
- Almaty – Dushanbe + one flight;

In addition, it is noted that from March 30, 2025, they plan to open air traffic on the route Almaty - Nha Trang (four flights a week), from March 31, 2025 - Astana - Nha Trang (three flights a week), from March 30, 2025 - Almaty - Guangzhou (three flights a week); from April 20, 2025, flights will be resumed on the route Almaty - Mumbai (three flights a week); from May 28, 2025, air traffic will be opened on the new route Atyrau - Tbilisi (three flights a week); from June 1, 2025 - Astana - Frankfurt (three flights a week).

- FlyArystan airline added 33 flights:
- Astana - Almaty + 11 flights;
- Astana - Uralsk + four flights;
- Almaty - Shymkent + three flights;
- Almaty - Karaganda + two flights;
- Almaty - Kyzylorda + two flights;
- Astana - Shymkent + two flights;
- Astana - Turkestan + two flights;
- Almaty - Kostanay + one flight;
- Almaty - Semey + one flight;
- Almaty - Pavlodar + one flight;
- Almaty - Uralsk + one flight;
- Astana - Kyzylorda + one flight;
- Astana - Aktau + one flight;
- Astana - Ust-Kamenogorsk + one flight;

In addition, it is noted that from June 4, 2025, flights will be opened on the Karaganda - Istanbul route (two flights per week);

- SCAT Airlines added 32 flights:
- Astana - Almaty + 16 flights;
- Astana - Shymkent + eight flights;
- Almaty - Shymkent + eight flights;

It is also indicated that flights will be opened on the route Shymkent - Cairo (from May 29, 2025, two flights a week), Shymkent - Xi'an (from May 28, 2025, two flights a week), Shymkent - Budapest (from May 27, 2025, two flights a week);

- Qazaq Air will launch flights on the route Astana - Samarkand (two flights a week) from May 1, 2025. In addition, the issue of increasing the number of flights on pre-holiday and holiday days on domestic routes Astana - Almaty, Astana - Shymkent, Astana - Turkestan is under consideration.
