Greek Prime minister accepts Tokayev's invitation to visit Kazakhstan

Astana. November 13. KazTAG—President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, reports Akorda.
“On the sidelines of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a meeting with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis,” reads the report.
Tokayev emphasized that Greece is a reliable partner of Kazakhstan in the European Union, noting that Athens is among Astana's five largest trading partners among EU countries.
Kyriakos Mitsotakis noted the enormous potential for strengthening Kazakh-Greek cooperation and expressed readiness to expand interaction across the entire spectrum of the bilateral agenda.
The parties confirmed their commitment to strengthening trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian ties, and also emphasized the importance of diversifying mutual trade. The parties shared views on issues of energy development and decarbonization of the economy.
The meeting participants agreed to maintain an active political dialogue. The head of the Greek Government enthusiastically accepted Kassym-Jomart Tokayev's invitation to visit Kazakhstan.
