Director of state-owned enterprise sentenced to 7.5 years following embezzlement of T100 million in Zhetysu

Taldykorgan. February 22. KazTAG - The director of a state enterprise has been sentenced to 7.5 years in the case of theft of T100 million in the Zhetysu region, reports the press service of the regional prosecutor's office.
“By a court verdict, the former director of the state enterprise at the Alakolzhylu storage facility was sentenced to seven years and six months in prison for theft of budget funds in excess of T100 million. The theft of funds allocated for the purchase of solid coal was committed by withdrawing them through a company affiliated with the head of the utility enterprise,” reads the report.
