Kazakhstan's share in the SCO budget has increased

Astana. October 17. KazTAG – Kazakhstan has set its share of the contribution to the budget of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the agency's correspondent reports.
"To approve the attached draft Protocol on Amendments to the Agreement on the Procedure for Formation and Execution of the Budget of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization dated December 1, 2017," reads the decree of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

The amounts of the SCO member states' share contributions are as follows:

Republic of Belarus - 5.8%

Republic of India - 5.9%

Islamic Republic of Iran - 5.8%

Republic of Kazakhstan - 15.2%

People's Republic of China - 17.6%

Kyrgyz Republic - 7.6%

Islamic Republic of Pakistan - 5.9%

Russian Federation - 17.6%

Republic of Tajikistan - 6%

Republic of Uzbekistan - 12.6%.

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Olzhas Abaevich Bektenov, has been instructed to sign the protocol on behalf of the Republic of Kazakhstan, authorizing the introduction of amendments and additions that are not of a fundamental nature. This Protocol shall be temporarily applied from January 1, 2025.
