"By order of the head of state, Dauren Kosanov has been appointed as Deputy Minister of Defense - Commander-in-Chief of the Air Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, he has been relieved of his previous position," said the statement.
From December 2022, Kosanov had worked as the commander-in-chief of the air defense forces; before that, he was the director of the military institute of the air defense forces in Aktobe, and earlier he worked as commander of the air force of the air defense forces.
