Flights from Ust-Kamenogorsk to Moscow and Novosibirsk may be suspended

Ust-Kamenogorsk. September 30. KazTAG – Due to a shortage of aircraft, airlines may suspend flights to Moscow and Novosibirsk in October in Ust-Kamenogorsk, YK-news.kz reports.
“As of today, flights Ust-Kamenogorsk – Moscow and Ust-Kamenogorsk – Novosibirsk are operating. But I have to disappoint you: due to a shortage of aircraft, our colleagues, namely the airline “Siberia” (“S7 Airlines”), will be forced to stop flights in the near future,” said Marat Karabayev,  Minister of Transport of of Kazakhstan at a meeting with city residents.
The suspension of flights will affect both Siberia Airlines and the domestic carrier Qazaq Air.
Karabayev noted that measures are being taken to maintain air traffic, including the possible involvement of other airlines.
