The parties considered the plans to expand trade, economic, scientific, technical, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the countries. Attention is paid to the implementation of tasks aimed at strengthening cooperation in the field of industrial cooperation, agriculture, energy, transport industry and others.
Mutual trade reached $24.2 billion in the first 11 months of 2024.
The turnover of agricultural products for the first 10 months of 2024 increased by 5% and amounted to more than $3.2 billion. In the field of industrial cooperation, 99 Kazakh-Russian projects worth $18.6 billion have been implemented to date.
Transit transportation through Kazakhstan has been developing at a high rate. In this regard, attention is paid to the development of road and rail infrastructure, as well as the opening of new alternative routes in the field of water transport.
