“A spontaneous avalanche went down in the Ulken Almaty river basin in the city of Almaty. The volume of the mass that came down was 16 thousand cubic meters,” the statement said.
The avalanche stopped at the foot of the mountain.
“There were no casualties, destruction or injuries,” added the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
