Kazakhstan sent almost three times more money than received from abroad in March

Astana. April 30. KazTAG — From Kazakhstan abroad through international money transfer systems (ISMT), KZT59.3 billion was sent in March 2024, and KZT20 billion was received, the National Bank says.
“The volume of money sent from Kazakhstan abroad in March 2024 increased by 0.6% to KZT59.3 billion, the volume of transfers received increased by 4.9% to KZT20 billion,” follows from the report.
According to the document, the leaders in terms of the volume of money sent from Kazakhstan abroad are: Russia – KZT20 billion and Turkey – KZT14.7 billion, in terms of the volume of money received: Russia – KZT5.6 billion, USA – KZT2.5 billion.
“In general, the volume of transfers in Kazakhstan amounted to KZT61.5 billion. Compared to February 2024, the volume of transactions increased by 2%,” the information indicates.
