Almost T50 trillion worth of property insured in Kazakhstan within a year

Almaty. November 7. KazTAG –  According to the results of 2023, insurance companies insured the property of citizens and businesses for T49.6 trillion and paid T68.7 billion to the owners of damaged property, reports the Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market.
“Consumer interest in voluntary property insurance in Kazakhstan has grown significantly. According to the results of 2023, insurance organizations insured property for T49.6 trillion, collecting over T210 billion. This is 27% more than in 2022,” reads the report.
According to the information, in 2023, owners of damaged property were paid T68.7 billion, which is 72% more than in 2022.
