Tokayev received Ambassador of the European Union to Kazakhstan

Astana. December 8. KazTAG – President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received the Ambassador of the European Union (EU) to Kazakhstan Kestutis Jankauskas, reports Akorda.
“The head of state received the Ambassador of the European Union to Kazakhstan, Kestutis Jankauskas,” reads the report.
Tokayev and Yankauskas reviewed the priority areas of relations between Kazakhstan and the EU.
“The head of our state confirmed Kazakhstan’s commitment to further strengthening the strategic partnership with the EU, as well as the intention to continue to promote multifaceted cooperation within the framework of the C5+EU format, which our country initiated,” reads the statement.
The President spoke about the successful implementation of the course of political reforms and thanked the EU for supporting Kazakhstan in strengthening democracy.
“During the meeting, special attention was paid to interaction in areas such as critical raw materials, green growth, transport, logistics and agriculture,” Akorda added.
