According to her, quality control of administrative data will be introduced and the Bureau of National Statistics will become the authorized body. The concepts of alternative data, “data product” and national reference information will be introduced. The procedure for using data for scientific research and training in AI models will be regulated, legal regulation of data processing centers is proposed, the procedure for using cloud technologies on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan is being introduced.
The bill has been generally approved and sent for consideration to the Senate of Kazakhstan.
