“ 1,488,308 passports of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan were issued in 2024 — this was a record number in 30 years,” reads the report.
According to the data, one of the reasons was the halved tariff for issuing passports for children.
The youngest citizen to receive a turquoise passport of the Republic of Kazakhstan was only 10 days old, and the oldest was 109 years old.
“In 2024, 3,786 employers were identified who illegally used the labor of foreign workers,” the report adds.
In addition, it is indicated that 41 foreign IT specialists were issued a residence permit under a simplified procedure.
