President of Kazakhstan took part in informal meeting of CIS leaders

Astana. December 26. KazTAG – President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev discussed further development of mutually beneficial cooperation with the heads of the CIS countries, reports Akorda.
“Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who arrived on a working visit to St. Petersburg, took part in an informal meeting of the heads of CIS member states,” the statement said.
The event was attended by the leaders of the Commonwealth member states: Vladimir Putin (Russia), Alexander Lukashenko (Belarus), Sadyr Japarov (Kyrgyzstan), Emomali Rahmon (Tajikistan), Serdar Berdimuhamedov (Turkmenistan) and Shavkat Mirziyoyev (Uzbekistan).
The meeting participants discussed current issues of regional cooperation, identified priority areas of work within the CIS and outlined prospects for the development of integration processes.
