"Based on the results of 2024, the shipment volume (of Kazakh oil via the Aktau-Baku-Ceyhan - KazTAG route) amounted to 1.4 million tons. The plan for the current year is 1.7 million tons of oil," KMG said in a statement.
The heads of JSC NC KazMunayGas Askhat Khasenov and SOCAR Rovshan Najaf also discussed the implementation of the transportation agreement signed by the companies in 2022.
The discussion also focused on implementing a strategic agreement between companies on decarbonization and introducing low-carbon technologies to reduce harmful emissions in the oil and gas industry, the possibilities of implementing joint projects in geological exploration and oil and gas production, attracting investment, and digitalizing production.
