More than 22 million packs of counterfeit cigarettes seized in Kazakhstan since January

Astana. December 4. KazTAG – More than 22 million packs of cigarettes worth more than T11 billion have been seized from circulation since the beginning of the year, reports the Financial Monitoring Agency.
“In general, since the beginning of this year, the Financial Monitoring Agency has been handling 62 criminal cases related to the circulation of tobacco products, of which 35 have been sent to court. In total, more than 22 million packs of cigarettes worth more than T11 billion have been seized,” reports the agency.
