Astana. November 14. KazTAG – Tactical and special exercises Hanjar-2024 have started at the Forish training ground in Uzbekistan, where military personnel of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are practicing actions in urban conditions, reports the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan.
“The tactical and special exercises Hanjar-2024 have started at the Forish training ground of the Central Military District in the Jizzakh region and will be held until November 20 inclusive,” reads the report.
The military of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan will conduct practical training in three stages, including bringing special forces units to the highest levels of combat readiness, preparing them for combat use and jointly conducting a special operation. The exercises include actions in an urban environment and practicing shooting skills, as well as the elimination of simulated illegal armed groups.
In addition, cultural events are planned, such as national cuisine days, a friendly football match and a tour of Samarkand.
