“The regional prosecutor’s office is constantly working to identify land plots that are not used for their intended purpose. In particular, this year, through measures of prosecutorial supervision for non-development of land, three plots in the Karakiyansky district, located along the coast of the Caspian Sea, with a total area of 696.8 hectares and a cadastral value of KZT 1.1 billion, which have not been developed since 2007, were returned to the state,” reads the report.
The analysis revealed 61 cases of squatting of state-owned land plots within the borders of Aktau.
“We also identified 57 peasant farms in the region that irrationally used agricultural land plots with an area of 44,850 hectares. Thus, it was found that the number of farm animals did not correspond to the maximum permissible load rate (20% less) for the total area of pastures, thus the land plots were actually not used. For all violations, in order to return land plots to state ownership and bring the perpetrators to administrative responsibility, the regional prosecutor's office introduced an act of prosecutorial supervision. Work in this direction is underway,” said the report.
