IMF increases Kazakhstan's GDP forecast for 2025 to 5.5%

Astana. January 20. KazTAG – The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has increased its forecast for Kazakhstan's GDP in 2025 from 4.6% to 5.5%, reports the National Bank of Kazakhstan.
"The IMF has increased its forecast for Kazakhstan's GDP in 2025 from 4.6% to 5.5%, and for 2026 – from 3.5% to 4.1%," reads the report.
The World Bank left its estimate unchanged last week – 4.7%, and lowered its expectations for 2026 by 0.1 percentage points, to 3.5%.
