"By the decree of the head of state, Beisembayev Gani Bektayevich was appointed Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan," the statement said on Wednesday.
By another decree, the President dismissed Askhat Aimagambetov from the post of Minister of Education.
Beisembaev has been vice minister of education since August 2022, before that since March of the same year he was vice minister of education and science, and even earlier, since 2020, he headed the National Academy of Education named after Y. Altynsarin.
Aimagambetov has been the Minister of Education since June 2022, before that, since June 2019, he headed the Ministry of Education and Science.
