“On July 20 at 04:10, an emergency situation occurred at the YDD Corporation ferroalloy plant. A sudden burst of flame occurred at furnace No. 1, as a result of which eight employees of the enterprise were injured,” reads the report.
People received varying degrees of injuries. They are provided with urgent medical care. All eight people are in hospital.
At the moment, all injured employees are in the hospital, where they are receiving urgent medical care.
The company produces steel - high-quality ferrosilicon, cement, microsilica concrete. Erlan Nigmatulin, the twin brother of ex-speaker of the Majilis Nurlan Nigmatulin, is a co-owner of the Karaganda ferroalloy plant of YDD Corporation LLP.
