Drunken Russian caused panic on board of Astana-Almaty plane

Astana. February 28. KazTAG - At the capital's airport, police removed a Russian citizen from the Astana-Almaty flight, who suddenly demanded to leave the plane before departure, reports the press service of the transport police department.
"At the capital's airport, employees of the linear police department, following an act by representatives of the airline, removed a passenger from the Astana-Almaty flight, who suddenly demanded to leave the plane before departure," reads the report. The incident occurred before takeoff, when a 44-year-old passenger began complaining of heart pain and shortness of breath. However, his condition was not critical - the examination showed a mild degree of alcohol intoxication.
During the incident, the man damaged the auxiliary handle of the front door of the aircraft. As a result, he was held accountable for drinking alcohol and violating the rules of conduct on board the aircraft.
"Safety on board is a priority for everyone. Any inappropriate actions and violation of order entail liability before the law and can affect the serviceability of the aircraft, delay the flight and even lead to serious consequences," the police department reminded.
