Taxi driver stubbed in Karaganda: Criminal case initiated

Karaganda. February 28. KazTAG - A criminal case has been opened on the fact of an attack on a taxi driver with a knife in Karaganda, reports ekaraganda.kz.
"Eyewitnesses say that the incident happened near the Almaz shopping center, the taxi driver was stabbed several times. Passersby came to help the man. They saw a wounded man who was asking to save his life," reads the report.
The man was given first aid before the ambulance arrived - his hands and face were bloody. It is also noted that passersby called the police, after which he was hospitalized.
According to the Karaganda Region Department of Police, a criminal case has been opened on the fact of causing bodily harm to the 53-year-old taxi driver. All participants in the incident have already been identified. Investigative actions are underway.
