Ban on gambling for civil servants and law enforcement officers to be considered in Kazakhstan

Astana. June 26. KazTAG - A ban on gambling for government officials and law enforcement officers will be considered in Kazakhstan, reports the Ministry of Tourism and Sports.
“The Ministry of Tourism and Sports of Kazakhstan held a meeting of the working group to consider the petition to introduce a ban on the participation of government employees, military personnel, law enforcement and special agencies in gambling and betting,” reads the statement.
Vice Minister of Tourism and Sports Miras Tulebaev opened the meeting, noting that the petition was signed by 50 thousand people, and in accordance with the code, the ministry must take the decision within 40 days.
