“Today in Dubai, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Kazakhstan Berik Asylov took part in an international conference dedicated to the impact of modern technologies and new trends on the future of the judicial system, held within the framework of the World Summit of Governments – 2025,” reads the report.
The meeting discussed the use of technologies in legal proceedings, as well as strategies for increasing their effectiveness. The head of the supervisory authority presented digital projects that are already operating in Kazakhstan, and emphasized that the country's president pays special attention to the development of artificial intelligence while strengthening cybersecurity and protecting personal data.
During the conference, the participants showed their interest in exchanging experiences and agreed to develop international cooperation in the field of digital transformation.
In addition, Berik Asylov held bilateral talks with the UAE Minister of Justice, discussing the extradition of wanted persons and the return of illegally withdrawn assets. Meetings were also held with the Ministers of Justice of Qatar, China and Norway, at which the parties confirmed the high level of partnership.
