Astana. April 2. KazTAG - Inflation rate amounted to 2.3% in January-March 2020 in Kazakhstan, reports the statistics committee of the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan.
"From the beginning of the year, the prices increased for vegetables - by 21.1%, granulated sugar - by 6.7%, cereals - by 4.8%, butter - by 4%, fruits - by 3.9%, lamb - by 3.4%, pasta - by 3.3%, flour, horse meat - 3.1% each, frozen fish, beef - 2.9% each, meat products - 2.7%, pasteurized milk - 2.5%, cottage cheese - 2.4%, dairy products , sausages - 2.2% each, rennet cheese - 2.1%, tea - 1.7%, pork - 1.6%, bakery and flour products - 1.5%. Tobacco products went up by 4%, mineral and drinking water - by 2.3%, soft drinks - by 1.5%, ” reads the report.
The price has dropped for rice by 2.4%, eggs - by 0.4%.
Food prices increased by 3.6%, non-food - by 1.4%, paid services - by 1.4% in March against December.
