“By decree of the head of state, Satkaliyev Almasadam has been appointed as Chairman of the Agency of Kazakhstan on Atomic Energy, he has been relieved of his previous post,” reads the statement.
Satkaliyev worked as Minister of Energy from April 2023, before that, from March 2021, he headed the Samruk-Kazyna Fund, and even earlier, from September 2018, he worked as Managing Director for Asset Management and Privatization of the Fund.
President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev had signed a decree “On measures to further improve the system of public administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan and formed an Atomic Energy Agency.
