"Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, president of Kazakhstan, has received Murat Bektanov, deputy minister of defense- head of general headquarter of the armed forces of Kazakhstan. The president has been reported about the condition of military preparedness of the armed forces and work for performance of defense tasks in the state," reads the message.
Tokayev assigned to enhance work for analysis of possible military threat, develop conceptual approaches to further strengthening of the armed forces.
Bektanov has also informed the president of Aibakta-2019 military exercises conducted these days.
