"The information about the detention is true,” a source close to the security forces told the KazTAG editorial office.
Journalist Mikhail Kozachkov had reported on the detention on his Telegram channel.
KazTAG contacted the Astana Police Department (PD) for comments, but they are not yet disclosing details due to Article 201 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Earlier, the PD confirmed that a criminal case had been opened regarding the attack on the SOBR fighters in Astana. KazTAG also reported, citing a source, that the cars of those who attacked the SOBR fighters in Astana were found near the building of the Prosecutor General's Office and on the territory of the airport.
