SCO states to discuss food safety program in August

Astana. June 20. KazTAG - The national coordinators of eight SCO states have commenced performance of the agreement reached by the results of SCO summit on June 9-10, reports the Foreign Ministry of Kazakhstan.
"The first session of council of national coordinators chaired by Kyrgyzstan will take place in August, the parties will discuss draft cooperation program of SCO states on food security," said Yerlan Alimbayev, SCO national coordinator in Kazakhstan.
The initiative for cooperation in food security was proposed by Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of Kazakhstan in 2014 and was encouraged by all SCO member states in early 2018.
