"The delegates of the session of the UN Security Council in New York marked necessity of continuation of negotiations on Syrian problem within the frameworks of Astana process. They expressed gratefulness and highly estimated the activity of UN envoy Staffan de Mistura for the crisis settlement in Syria, who declared his intention to step down at the end of November," reads the message.
S. de Mistura said until the end of November he would take intensive measures to form the Syrian committee for development of new Constitution of the state, and until the end of October he would invite the representatives of guarantor-states of Astana process to Geneva.
