Record 18.96 million square meters of housing were built in Kazakhstan in 2024

Astana. January 15. KazTAG - A record 18.96 million square meters of housing were built in Kazakhstan in 2024, and more than 172 thousand housing units were commissioned, reports the press service of the Ministry of Industry and Construction.
"According to the instructions of the head of state, 18.96 million square meters of housing were built in Kazakhstan in 2024, which is a record figure in housing construction for all the years of the country's independence. Thus, according to the results of 2024, 172,089 housing units were commissioned, of which 39,064 were individual residential buildings," reads the report.
The leaders in terms of construction rates were Shymkent, Pavlodar, Turkestan and Kyzylorda regions.
