Over 400 people live without documents in Kazakhstan

Astana. October 4. KazTAG – Over the first three months of 2024, police have identified 404 people without documents in Kazakhstan, reports the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan.
“As of today, 404 people without documents have been identified in the country, including  200 people have been recognized as citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan,” said the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan.
14 people have been recognized as stateless persons, while the rest are still undergoing verification activities to determine their legal status.
Since July 2024, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan has been identifying people living without any documents with an unsettled legal status.
