“In the morning in the city of Kokshetau, due to the release of water from the bank of the Kilshakty River, 16 private houses, 29 private courtyards and 12 multi-storey residential courtyards, as well as the first floor of the Ertostik kindergarten were flooded. Currently, 150 m of bank protection work has been carried out, 280 tons of inert material have been laid. 111 people were evacuated, including 30 children,” the statement said on Friday.
Police officers and local executive bodies are on duty in flooded areas.
