Level of injuries in factories of Kazakhstan has not changed since 2021

Astana. January 31. KazTAG - The level of injuries in the factories of Kazakhstan has not changed since 2021, reports the press service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.
“1,465 workers were injured in industrial accidents, 203 of whom died in 2021. At the same time, occupational injuries at the end of 2022 remained at the level of 2021. In 2022, the level of occupational injuries (the rate of accidents per 1,000 employees) amounted to 0.22,” indicates the report.
180 people were injured in the Karaganda region, 169 in the East Kazakhstan, 142 in Kostanay, 112 in Pavlodar, 103 in Aktobe, and 114 in Almaty.
The majority workers suffer at the enterprises of the mining and metallurgical complex - 16.2% and in the construction industry - 15%.
