Kyrgyzstan has filed protest against results of kokpar competition with Kazakhstan at the Nomad Games

Astana. September 13. KazTAG – The Kok-Boru Federation of Kyrgyzstan has filed a protest against the results of the competition against the Kazakhstan national kokpar team at the World Nomad Games, Fergana reports.
"The Kok-Boru Federation of Kyrgyzstan has filed a protest against the results of the final tournament against the Kazakhstan national kokpar team at the World Nomad Games . The Kyrgyz side believes that they were unfairly judged and that there was pressure from the security forces," said the report.
As the captain of the Kyrgyzstan national kok-boru team told the publication, police and special forces beat their players.
"We knew it would be unfair, but not to such an extent. The judges swore at us, and the police and special forces beat our players. An NSC officer came up to me, showed me his ID, took a photo and started to scare me by saying that I was allegedly sowing discord between peoples. The pressure was strong. After a scuffle with the score 3:1 in our favor, we were asked to go out and finish the game, in the end, we were judged unfairly. We did not think that the Kazakh side would allow such disorganization and injustice. If the Kazakhs have pride, they will not celebrate such a victory," said the captain of the Kyrgyz national kok-boru team after the match.
