Kazakh authorities approved draft agreement with Thailand on visa-free travel

Astana. April 22. KazTAG – The authorities of Kazakhstan have approved a draft agreement with Thailand on visa-free travel.
“Approve the attached draft agreement between the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the government of the Kingdom of Thailand on the exemption from visa requirements for holders of national passports,” reads the resolution of the government of Kazakhstan.
Kazakhs and Thais will be able to visit Kazakhstan and Thailand, respectively, on the basis of national passports with an exemption from visa requirements for entry, exit, transit, temporary stay for a period not exceeding 30 calendar days from the date of entry, a total of 90 calendar days during each period of 180 calendar days.
If citizens of two countries intend to stay in each other’s territory for more than 30 calendar days, they will need to obtain the appropriate visa.
