Ex-akim Tumabayev, dismissed after fatal drunken accident, got a post in the Ministry of Trade

Ust-Kamenogorsk. April 23. KazTAG - Kuat Tumabayev , former akim of Ust-Kamenogorsk, dismissed after a fatal drunken accident, has received a post in the Ministry of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan.
" Kuat Tumabayev , Department of Export Promotion, Director of the Department", indicated the web-site of the ministry.
The press service of the department told the KazTAG agency that Tumabayev "passed the tender procedure in accordance with the law on civil service."
“The grounds for participation in the competition or impossibility are stipulated in the law. The whole procedure was open, starting with the announcement on the website and ending with the results, which came to the competition committee. Everything was published. Accordingly, he had no restrictions in order to submit documents for participation in the competition, ” reads the statement.
On April 15, 2018,  Bauyrzhan Kurmanbayev, who worked as deputy akim of the city, being in alcoholic intoxication while driving a BMW X5 SUV, knocked down a pedestrian Yevgeny Smolnikov to death. On June 28, the court found Kurmanbayev guilty and sentenced him to imprisonment for a period of one year in minimum security colony. He was deprived  of the right to engage in activities related to driving a vehicle for a period of five years.
Next to Kurmanbayev was Tumabayev - at that time - the akim of Ust-Kamenogorsk, in the time of the accident.
