Astana. June 8. KazTAG - Reserves of "Burabay" and "Markakol" have been included in the global network of biosphere reserves, reports Akorda.
The Burabay and Markakol nature reserves have been included in the global network of biosphere reserves. Also the musical and puppet art "Orteke" is now listed in the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage List.
Audrey Azoulay, Director General of UNESCO, presented the corresponding certificates to the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
