"Rolton noodles plant in Kapshagay will become the biggest enterprise not only in the regions, but in the state. The annual production volume will make 24 bn tenge," said Amandyk Batalov, akim of the Almaty region.
He said the main production share will be targeted on foreign markets.
"80% of products will be exported abroad, the left part will stay here," he said.
In his words, the plant will employ about 500 people.
Vietnamese investors are constructing the plant in Kapshagay producing pasta and semi-finished products. The planned capacity will make 98 000 tons of products per annum. $50 mln have been invested in the plant.
