“We continue fighting with the fire of reed vegetation and grass in the Balkhash region. There is no threat to populated areas. The Kazaviaspas JSC helicopter with a spillway device carried out 65 water discharges with a total volume of 195 tons onto the fires. The measures taken with the use of aviation equipment and the deployment of forestry workers and firefighters to hard-to-reach places eliminated individual outbreaks and saved nearby peasant farms,” the statement said.
