1396 cases of COVID-19 and CVI-pneumonia recorded in Kazakhstan on October 17-18

Astana. October 19. KazTAG - 1396 cases of COVID-19 (CVI +) and pneumonia with signs of coronavirus infection (CVI-) were recorded in Kazakhstan on October 17-18, said the press service of the Ministry of Health.
“From March 13, 2020 to October 18, 2021, CVI +: morbidity - 919 533 (1387 over the past day), mortality - 11 797 (46 for October 17); from March 13, 2020 to October 17, 2021, CVI-: incidence - 78,004 (nine on October 17), mortality - 4969 (seven on October 17), " reads the report.
52,225 people continue getting treatment for CVI (45 706 CVI + and 6 519 CVI-),  9130 patients are in hospitals, and 43 095 patients are at the outpatient level.
“627 patients are in serious condition, 168 patients are in state of extreme severity, 96 patients on ventilators ,” said the message.
