Regional quota for admission of candidates and migrants increased for 2025 in Kazakhstan

Astana. January 8. KazTAG – The regional quota for the admission of candidates and migrants for 2025 has been increased to 9,653 people, which is 170 more than last year, said the press service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population.
“By order of the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Kazakhstan, the regional quota for the admission of candidates and migrants for 2025 has been set at 9,653 people, which is 170 people more than last year,” the report said.
The quota is distributed as follows:
For repatriates : Pavlodar region - 1056 people, Akmola region - 285 people, East Kazakhstan region - 269 people, Abay region - 244 people, North Kazakhstan region - 175 people, Kostanay region - 150 people, Atyrau region - 100 people, West Kazakhstan region - 30 people.
For migrants: Pavlodar region - 3050 people, North Kazakhstan region - 2969 people, Kostanay region - 535 people, East Kazakhstan region - 372 people, Abay region - 255 people, Ulytau region - 125 people, Karaganda region - 38 people.
