“Danial Akhmetov announced the early termination of his powers and proposed the candidacy of the famous athlete, champion of the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro Olga Rypakova for the post of President of the Federation. The meeting participants, including the heads of regional federations and the sports community, unanimously supported her candidacy,” said the press service of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports.
The final meeting of the Kazakhstan Athletics Federation for 2024 was held in Astana with the participation of the Minister of Tourism and Sports Yerbol Myrzabosynov. Danial Akhmetov presented a report on the work done by the Federation.
