Volunteer of Italian federation on human rights gets summon to police after press-conference in Almaty
Almaty. August 13. KazTAG - Daniyar Khasenov, volunteer of the Italian federation on human rights has received a summon to the police department of Almaty after a press-conference in Almaty.
"Right after the press-conference at 11.30 the volunteer Daniyar Khasenov received a summon to police to investigator Yerzhanova at 10.00 on August 13 in the hall of Kazakhstani international bureau for human rights and rule of law. The police officers attempted to take the volunteer to the police station.
The summon did not indicate the procedural status of Khasenov, while investigator Yerzhanova was indignant on the phone about his demand to register the summon correctly and wondered if Khasenov wasn't going to come to investigatory arrangement.
The police officer signed the status of Khasenov "witness with right for defense" right on the scene, however, the time indicated on the summon had expired and Khasenov claimed to provide him a correctly registered summon.
The police officers who left to the police station to register the summon correctly have not returned. Khasenov waited for them for 1.5 hours.
