Up to 20% cashback is proposed to be introduced for domestic tourists of Kazakhstan

Astana. January 27. KazTAG - Cashback up to 20% is proposed to be introduced for domestic tourists of Kazakhstan, reports the Ministry of Culture and Sports
“Tourist cashback for Kazakhstani people was proposed by the Minister of Culture and Sports Askhat Oralov. He spoke about the initiative at the third collegium of the ministry dedicated to tourism issues,” said the report.
The program will allow people to return up to 20% of the cost of the tour during a less active holiday season if the tickets were purchased from official travel agencies. If the idea is implemented, for example, a refund of 20% of the cost will apply to new directions (Abai and Ulytau regions), and the cashback will be 10% to popular and favorite destinations, such as Almaty, Burabay.
“We will start work in order to fully and efficiently work out all the mechanisms of such a program. Cashback will become a new tool to make domestic tourism more attractive. By increasing demand, we will also support domestic travel agencies,” Oralov said.
