Tokayev held talks with heads of CSTO member states

Astana. January 14. KazTAG - President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held talks with the heads of the member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), reports Akorda.
“The head of state held telephone talks  with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov and Tajik President Emomali Rahmon,” said the report.
"Tokayev informed his colleagues in the CSTO about the withdrawal of the peacekeeping contingent from our country that began on January 13, and expressed gratitude to them for their support at the time of the terrorist attack on Kazakhstan."
"The head of state stressed that the short-term stay of the collective peacekeeping forces in Kazakhstan demonstrated the relevance and effectiveness of the CSTO as an authoritative international organization," said the report.
