Tokayev held meetings with participants of XVI BRICS Summit in Kazan

Astana. October 24. KazTAG – President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev arrived at the XVI BRICS Summit in Kazan, where he was met by Russian President Vladimir Putin. Tokayev also held brief meetings with the summit participants, reports Akorda.
“The head of state arrived at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center, where the XVI BRICS Summit is taking place. (…) The head of state held a number of talks with the participants of the XVI BRICS Summit,” said the report.
The country's leader held brief talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, Laotian President Thongloun Sisoulith, Congolese President Denis Sassou Nguesso and Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.
