"The head of state inspected the building of the Operational Control Center of the Aktobe Police Department. The facility provides round-the-clock monitoring of the situation on the ground in real time using about 15 thousand video cameras," reads the report.
The center employs 32 inspectors and three operators of the hotline "102". Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Saken Sarsenov reported to the head of state on the introduction of digital technologies in police activities.
Currently, five operational control centers are operating in the Aktobe region. Their work has revealed 1.8 thousand criminal offenses and 187 thousand traffic violations.
