Tokayev cancels procedure of appointment of rectors of national universities by president's order

Astana. July 17. KazTAG - Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kazakhstan, has cancelled the procedure of appointment of rectors of the national universities by the orders of the head of state.
"I have assigned Askhat Aimagambetov, Minister of Education and Science, to prepare normative documents on appointment of rectors of the national universities on the competition base by the decrees of the Government. The procedure cancels appointment of rectors by the presidential orders," reads the message.
